Peterborough served as the midway-between-Toronto-and-Kingston meeting place, where Ange and I met our friends–Dave and Em, little Rose, and their pup–for a hike. We strode the Jackson Creek trail for any numbers of kilometres; making jokes, lunching on a bridge, and scouring for a lost baby sock. A really nice (and far too short) visit.
