Visited Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary this past weekend. It’s a beautiful place in Rosseau, Ontario that cares for hundreds of injured or abused animals. A tour of the property allows guests to visit the permanent residents—those animals that are too domesticated to go back into the wild, or those who have endured terrible hardship and neglect. There were bears, coyotes, arctic foxes, bobcats, porcupine, wolves, and others. They had nice, large paddocks in which to roam, and they seem happy and content.
